Scoring System

BBB uses a point-based scoring system. Here's how points are earned each round:

• FO (First On): 1 point for being the first to hit the green. The number of strokes does not matter.
• GR (Greenie): 1 bonus point for hitting a par-3 green on the first shot. Awarded when the hole is finished.
• CL (Closest to Pin): 1 point for having the ball closest to the hole on par-3s (or par-4s/5s when a greenie is awarded).
• P (Putt): 1 point for the longest putt made on the hole.
• Carry-In: Points carried from one hole to the next of different types until they are awarded.

Streak Categories

• Score Streak: Consecutive holes where you scored any point (FO, CL, P, Carry-In, or Greenie).
• Zero Streak (Drought): Consecutive holes where you scored zero points. Capped at 18 holes (a full round).
• FO Streak: Consecutive par-4 or par-5 holes where you were First On the green — does not have to be in regulation.
• Closest Streak: Consecutive holes where you won closest-to-pin.
• Putt Streak: Consecutive holes where you won the putt.
• Greenie Run: Most consecutive par-3 holes that you won in a row.
• 3-Ptr Streak: Most holes where you earned FO + Closest + Putt on the same hole (within a round).
• Max Hole Score: Highest total points scored on a single hole in one round.

Other Stats

• Holes Scored: Total holes where you earned any points during the season.
• Carry-In Points: Total Carry Points earned across the season.
• Max Hole Score: Highest points scored on a single hole in one round.
• 3-Ptr Holes: Total holes where FO + Closest + Putt were all earned in the same hole.

Win/Loss

• Wins: Wins are top 2 scoring players in a foursome. Top single player in a threesome.
• Win %: Wins divided by rounds played.
• Win Streak: Most consecutive rounds won.
• Loss Streak: Most consecutive rounds not won.

Streak Modes (bottom bar)

• NOW Current Running Streaks
  Shows live hole-level streaks that are actively building right now. These reset if you miss a hole. This is what's "happening at this moment."
• 26-SEASON Season Best
  Shows the best single-season record for each stat. "All-Time" in the left column means the best ever in this season — your personal season record.
• SLIDER Date Slider
  Drag the slider to a specific date to see cumulative stats as of that date. The right column shows stats built up round-by-round through that date. This is useful for seeing how streaks developed over the season.

All Player Leaderboard Columns

• Rds: Number of rounds played (filtered by player count selection).
• Total: Sum of all points scored across all rounds.
• Median/Rnd: Median points per round — the middle value when all round scores are sorted. More robust than mean for small samples.
• Mean/Rnd: Average (arithmetic mean) points per round. Total divided by rounds.
• Best: Highest single-round score.
• FO (wins/avg): FO = number of rounds with a first-on point; avg = average FO points per round. Example: 12 (1.8) means 12 FO wins, 1.8 avg FO points per round.
• GR (wins/avg): Greenie wins / avg greenie points per round.
• CL (wins/avg): Closest-to-pin wins / avg CL points per round.
• P (wins/avg): Putt wins / avg putt points per round.
• Med Rk: Ranking by Median/Rnd (higher = better rank). #1 means highest median.
• Mean Rk: Ranking by Mean/Rnd (higher = better rank).

Player Count Filter

Rounds are split into 3-player and 4-player categories because with fewer competitors there are more potential points to award a player. This is a mathematical fact, not a typical observation. We do not average or normalize between the two — each is shown separately. The "All Rounds" view combines both.

How Winners Are Determined

• 3 Players: Highest scorer wins. If 2+ tie at the top, all tied players get a win.
• 4 Players: Top 2 players get a win. If tied at 1st, all tied players get a win. If tied at 2nd, neither tied player gets a win (tie at 2nd doesn't share).
• 5+ Players (including guests): Same logic as 4-player — top 2 win, ties at 1st share, ties at 2nd don't.

Guests

Guest players are aggregated into a single "Guests" row on the leaderboard. They are counted as real players in winner determination and round player-count classification, but do not appear individually in the player selector.
